The NowPatient Diabetes app summarises your past blood sugar readings to show you how your blood sugar has previously reacted around similar scenarios.

As you start to record blood sugar in the app or in Apple Health, the app will summarise all previous blood sugar readings from the last 30 days around the time you are viewing the app and for the next 5 hours. This may give you an indication of how consistent your blood sugar tends to be over time.

As you start to record food and insulin actions, your graph will start to change to show you how your blood sugar usually responds to those actions. The graph will show bold coloured circles for readings that are more relevant to your current situation and lighter coloured circles for readings that are still relevant but less relevant. Together, the displayed readings give a summary of what usually happens to you having performed these actions.
