When you have a background routine setup in NowPatient Diabetes, we'll remind you when to take your background doses with a notification. It's important for you to confirm background doses as it is dangerous for the app to assume that you have taken insulin and automatically record for you.
We have designed the app to be quick and simple so it only takes 3 seconds to confirm a background dose and won't interrupt your day!
You can confirm a background dose in 3 easy steps:
Press the reminder notification
Check and adjust the insulin units and time as necessary
Press 'Record'
