There are many medications which can lower blood sugar levels. NowPatient Diabetes has chosen to begin our research focusing on insulin, which is more typically associated with type 1 diabetes. We are at a stage where we believe our research into insulin is suitable for our app and so are welcoming users who use insulin.

However, we have not yet had the resources to investigate how other medications used to lower blood sugar levels have an effect on someone's blood sugar in conjunction with insulin.

Therefore, as a safety precaution, we do not allow people who are using other blood sugar lowering medication to use the app.

We are working hard to broaden our research and make the accessible to more people with diabetes. You can sign up in the app to be notified by email when the app can support other blood sugar lowering medications.
