NowPatient Diabetes can sync with your existing Workouts data in Apple Health.

The first time you press on the Activity button in NowPatient Diabetes, you will be prompted to provide NowPatient Diabetes with permissions to access your Workout data in Apple Health. If you give permissions, NowPatient Diabetes will sync your Workouts data and show them as if you had recorded them in NowPatient Diabetes.

To manually give NowPatient Diabetes access to Workouts on your iPhone:

  • Open Apple Health

  • Tap on 'Show All Health Data'

  • Tap on 'Workouts'

  • Scroll to the bottom and tap 'Data Sources & Access'

  • Turn on the option for NowPatient Diabetes under 'Apps Allowed to Read Data'

That's it! NowPatient Diabetes will now sync your Workouts. If you have a lot of data, it may take a few seconds before they show in NowPatient Diabetes while they sync in the background.

If you don't have your Workouts data in Apple Health yet, below are links for various devices on how to quickly sync your device to Apple Health:

If your device isn't listed, it may still be able to connect to Apple Health. Let us know what the device is at support@nowpatient.com and we'll see if we can help you get it set up!
